Waist beads have been worn for generations by women to accentuate their physique, feel sexy and feminine. They are designed to be worn on your waist, high hip or low hip depending on your personal preference. Traditionally worn under clothing, some women now wear their waist beads traditionally or as visual accessories. Waist beads are comfortable enough to be worn for extended periods and some women wear them permanently. These waist beads are made to withstand long term wear and remain comfortable. Our hand-made tie-on waist beads are made in Ghana. There is no size selection for these traditional tie-on beads. Each strand measures approximately 47 inches (fits up to a US size 16)  and does not include a clasp as they simply tie on. Don’t forget to leave a little wiggle room when you tie on your waist beads!
